While waiting for the next challenge to start, teams and individual participants had some time to rest. In the meantime, we took a chance to talk with winning team representatives about their current experience and what advice they have for people thinking of joining our competition…
What were the challenges you faced while working with teammates that did not know each other before the Summer Camp?
We found it challenging to organize ourselves and separate our responsibilities to maximize each team member’s capabilities. Every beginning is hard, but we managed to put in the work and make a good product in the end.
Was it surprising that you won? What did you feel when you heard that you are the winners?
Yes, of course! There were some outstanding projects, and creating a Web 3.0 app is even more challenging than we thought at first.
It wasn’t easy to make it through the first 2 phases, which is why we are very proud of our achievement.
Would you change anything if you could do the second challenge again?
Time was not on our side, we had more features and ideas in our minds, but we had to prioritize and leave some of them unfinished. Everything worked out in the end and we wouldn’t change much. Still, we are sure that we will implement more of those ideas that we skipped in the upcoming challenges.
Do you have any advice for the people that are thinking about joining the following challenges?
Be ready for exciting challenges. It isn’t always easy, but it is always fun. Be organized and intelligent. Spend most of your time on the crucial parts of the project and prioritize. Go in easy, and be c00l.
What were the biggest challenges you faced, and how did you solve them?
We had many discussions about the looks and functionality, and we ran into a lot of errors that we had a hard time solving, but we managed to find the middle-end by communicating and trying out many things. There needs to be a compromise and trade-offs if you want everything to work out well in the end.
Would you recommend Summer Camp to other friends and colleagues?
Of course, Summer Camp is a great experience not just for crypto enthusiasts but for anyone interested in Web 3.0 and Blockchain. You can learn a lot of new stuff through these challenges, and we can say as a team that we will walk out of this experience with vast knowledge about the decentralized Web 3.0 world.
Summary
We were glad to see all the ideas and solutions teams and individuals brought to the table, and it just shows how much potential there is in the world of Web 3.0. We are looking forward to the following challenges to see more unique solutions that participants will create!
