A bit about the role
As a Medior DevOps Engineer you will work closely with our development and core engineering team, on cutting edge, industry-leading products while being focused on providing support for full software development lifecycle. You will be managing development, staging, and production environments.
Your main focus will be supporting release pipelines with continuous integration and deployment of our own and our clients products. We will support you to learn all about blockchain architecture and web3 technology.

- Your usual day will include:
🛠 Supporting software development lifecycle: managing development, staging, and production environments for both internal and external projects
💻 Collaborating with development teams in MVP Workshop and its Ventures, supporting release pipelines with continuous integration and deployment of all platforms and products that they are building
🐱 Setting up and configuring software development services such as Github
🔐 Informing all stakeholders and implementing the security strategy and policies for the MVPW and its Ventures. - Your usual week will include:
🕸 Managing virtual network infrastructure through our cloud providers such as AWS, including DNS/domain management, firewall and load balancing services.
👾 Managing virtual servers running a variety of services, including web & database servers, Ethereum nodes, team collaboration services, and more
💬 Operating the support desk for the products and platforms that we’re building within the MVPW ecosystem.
🕵️ Investigating and troubleshooting issues and clearly communicating incident reports on all our projects.
🖥 Managing logging, monitoring, detection, and recovery infrastructure for internal and external products.
🤸♀️ Finally, having fun with teammates while learning and exploring new Web3 technologies (we dedicate time to learning and educating ourselves)
WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOU BRING
- As a must:
☁️ 2+ years of experience with most AWS services; other cloud providers is a plus
🐧 3+ years Linux system administration and shell scripting
🗂 Setup and administration of Web Servers (NginX or Apache)and high transactional relational databases like PostgreSQL
✈️ Deploy services to Container Clusters (k8s or Docker stack, ECS, EKS
⚙️ Infrastructure automation and Configuration Management tools
✏️ Basic programming for advanced scripts (Python)
🐱 Git/GitHub knowledge - usage and administration of multiple Organizations
🤓 Conceptual and implementational knowledge of CI/CD (GitHub Actions)
🧑💻 Familiarity with working in a remote environment - As a plus:
📚 Knowledge of Web3 and a keen interest to learn more
🧑🔧 Configuring and maintaining Ethereum nodes
🎓 Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology and/or equivalent work experience - Plus as a general knowledge:
🔗 NFTs, DeFi, DAO, Oracles
💎 Experience with Polygon — proficient with the core concepts in the space
